Chapter One - Happy Thoughts Wednesday, 11 August, 2011 Dear Diary, would you please tell me; why do I feel like something bad is going to happen? Hell, I have no idea why I wrote that. Maybe I was feeling anxious just all. After all, it's my birthday in a week. I feel weird. I would usually feeling excited by now. I would be in Caroline's house, checking out our new dresses for my party, inviting all my friends. Wait, I don't have to. I stopped writing; thinking. And resume again. It's been 3 days since my older brother went back to his place. He shared a flat with his housemate, Adam, since it was closer to the university he's studying at. We were so close when we were little. Hell, we still do now. I'm wondering if he actually remember my birthday... Oh no. My little brother is turning 10 years old next month! And with that I finally stopped writing. Practically skipping to my brother's room to wake him up. Yeah, i'm cruel like that. When I arrived at his front door I was shocked because his door was wide open. Without hesitation I searched for him in the closet, wondering if he might hide in there. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY CLOSET, ROBBER?!!" Andy yelled. I turned to face him and that's when I realize there was a baseball bat in his tiny hands. He swings the bat back and forth and I, being the ninja I am; avoided his attack. Him on the other hand, only managed to hit his own feet and stumble back. I couldn't help but laugh at his cute clumsiness. "Oi back off little man! It's just me, Anne!" I managed to speak between my laughter. After 5 minutes of my erupting laughter, I managed to sit down and wipe the tears from my eyes. "Im sorry An. I didn't mean to laugh." I said with a cheeky grin plastered on my face. "Whatever. I'm going to shower." He replied. And with that he exited the room with a little smile on his face. 'I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drum Oh what a shame that you came here with someo-' "Hello?" I quickly answered when I realized it was Car calling me. "Where the hell are you woman?! You better get your ass right here, right now or I'll freakin' drag it here and believe me you won't and you don't wa-" And with that I cut her off so she don't say another nonsense things. "Chill out Car. I'm just getting out of the house. Just wait outside, okay? Bye." And by 'getting out of the house' I mean 'just getting into shower'. I sighed. "It's going to be a long day." And with that, I grabbed my towel and make my way to the bathroom. tbc. Nabs xo.
